Your wedding might be the first time you've had to choose live music for an event. Here at Essentially Music we will work with you to select the best music for you wedding, creating your perfect soundtrack for the day.
The Ultimate Package
Why not have it all, ceremony music, reception or dinner music and the party band for the night.
Whatever the setting for your ceremony you will most likely require some light background music while your guests are waiting followed by a befitting processional piece for the grand entrance. A special little something during the signing of the register followed by a celebratory recessional piece for the happy couple brings the ceremony to a close. We can advise you on suitable pieces and would recommend one of our lighter ensembles such as a string quartet, or guitar and violin.
During the drinks reception it can be ideal to use the same musicians as the ceremony. Providing the weather is fine many of our acoustic musicians, such as our string quartet, will be able to move outside and provide light background music while your guests enjoy canapés and you have an opportunity for photographs.
The Wedding Breakfast
During the wedding breakfast it can add a real ambience to the occasion to have some background dinner music. Dependent on the number of guests and size of your budget we would recommend one of our jazz ensembles, who are experienced in creating a sophisticated sound while remaining subtle enough for your guests to enjoy a conversation.
The Evening Entertainment
To make your evening party go with a swing and get everyone up and dancing in celebration of your sensational day, why not go for our full band complete with singer and options for saxophone or piano. We provide our own amplification, and would simply need enough space to set up and a safe electricity supply. Or for something a little more quirky perhaps you might like to try our Ceilidh band for a barn dance style evening, complete with a caller who explains all the dances. Suitable for all ages this can be a great way to get people mingling and mixing.
